20 Swiss francs banknote, first issue of 1994, Pick 68a, belonging to the eighth series of Swiss banknotes. Certified by PMG with a grade of 65 EPQ: uncirculated, with exceptional paper quality, no restoration or pressing.

Obverse: portrait of the Swiss-French composer Arthur Honegger (1892-1955), a prominent figure of the so-called Group of Six. Reverse: composition dedicated to his work Pacific 231, with trumpet valves, a steam locomotive wheel, a musical score, and a piano keyboard, referring to the fusion between music and industry present in part of his production.

Designed by Jörg Zintzmeyer and printed by Orell Füssli in Zurich, the eighth Swiss series is appreciated by collectors thanks to its thematic focus on figures of Swiss culture and the quality of the intaglio printing. An uncirculated specimen like this is ideal for those who collect banknotes focused on the history of European music.
