Set of 4 Iranian banknotes, all uncirculated (UNC), issued by the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran between 2010 and 2019: 5,000 rials (Pick 152c), 10,000 rials (Pick 159c), 20,000 rials (Pick 153b), and 100,000 rials (Pick 151e).

All four feature on the obverse the portrait of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and leader of the 1979 Revolution. The reverses feature decorated pottery from Zabol (5,000), the tomb of Hafez in Shiraz (10,000), the badgirs or windcatchers of the Aghazadeh house in Abarkooh (20,000), and the tomb of Saadi in Shiraz (100,000).

A fine sample of the previous series of the Iranian rial, which still circulates today alongside the newly issued banknotes and Iran Cheques.
