1 bolívar banknote from the Central Bank of Venezuela, dated October 4, 1989, Pick 68, series A, uncirculated.

Obverse: a one-bolívar coin reproduced on the right, next to the legend "payable to the bearer" and the denomination numeral. Reverse: the coat of arms of Venezuela on the left and guilloche patterns on the right, with the numeral "1" repeated in the corners.

At only 115 x 55 mm, it is smaller than the rest of the bolívar family of the time, earning it the nicknames "Tinoquito" and "Monopoly" among collectors, due to its resemblance to board game money; it is a curious piece for anyone assembling the complete series of low-denomination Venezuelan banknotes from the late 1980s.
