2026 Romanian 100 lei commemorative banknote, cataloged as Pick 128, uncirculated. Issued by the Banca Națională a României on September 14, 2026, to celebrate the 190th anniversary of the birth of Eugeniu Carada (1836–1910), founder of the National Bank of Romania. Polymer banknote with original bank folder.

Obverse with the headquarters of the National Bank of Romania in Bucharest and a portrait of Eugeniu Carada in a medallion; reverse with a portrait of Eugeniu Carada, the Romanian imperial eagle, and ornamental motifs from the bank's facade.

Eugeniu Carada (1836–1910) was a Romanian politician and economist, considered the founder and main driving force behind the creation of the National Bank of Romania in 1880. His vision was decisive for the modernization of the Romanian financial system.
