Mexico 20-peso banknote, commemorative issue by Banco de México for the bicentennial of the consummation of independence, polymer, Pick 136a, certified by PMG with a grade of 68 EPQ (Superb Gem Uncirculated), uncirculated and encapsulated in a sealed holder with its label.

Obverse: Scene of the solemn and peaceful entrance of the Trigarante Army into Mexico City on September 27, 1821, with the Flag of the Three Guarantees and the national flag. Reverse: The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve in Quintana Roo, with a Morelet's crocodile and a roseate spoonbill among the mangrove vegetation of this natural World Heritage site.

Banxico issued this variant as part of the 2021 bicentennial celebrations, in parallel with the ordinary series of banknotes from family G, combining a specific historical theme with a very distinct natural motif on the reverse. Its commemorative nature and more limited mintage than a regular banknote make it interesting for collectors of special Mexican issues.

“My experience with Iberoamericana Banknotes has been excellent: guaranteed authenticity, personalized advice, and a very wide selection of banknotes from rare countries. I bought a rare Rwandan banknote with a certificate, and it exceeded my expectations.”
