Jamaica 2 dollar note, Bank of Jamaica, 1993, Pick 69e, PMG 25 certified, circulated, with pronounced folds but intact.

Obverse: portrait of national hero Paul Bogle, leader of the Morant Bay protesters in 1865. Reverse: a group of schoolchildren in uniform next to the national motto "Out of many, one people," the coat of arms of Jamaica, and decorative motifs of a hummingbird, berries, and leaves.

Bogle led the Morant Bay revolt against the British colonial authorities and was hanged for it; today he is one of Jamaica's seven national heroes. The school scene on the reverse emphasizes the country's motto of unity, making this note a common piece among those who collect the series of Jamaican heroes.
