Obverse: portrait of Marco Aurelio Soto, president of the Honduran Liberal Reform, with the national coat of arms to the left. Reverse: view of El Tigre Island and the port of Amapala, in the Gulf of Fonseca, where his government was established.

The design remained unchanged for several years, with different dates and signatures giving rise to Pick variants like this one; a Gem UNC 66 EPQ grade places it among the best preserved examples of this issue, which is unusual for a banknote of such small denomination and intensive street use.
