Commemorative 200 lempiras banknote from the Central Bank of Honduras, dated 2019 for the bicentennial of Central American independence (1821-2021), Pick 105a, certified by PMG with a Superb Gem UNC 67 EPQ grade, uncirculated.

Obverse: a provincial government building and a scene of students with their teacher in a wheelchair on an open book, under the Honduran flag, with braille elements for visually impaired people. Reverse: two scarlet macaws (Ara macao), the national bird of Honduras, flying over the Plátano River.

Issued to commemorate 200 years of Central American independence, this banknote dedicates its obverse to education and its reverse to the country's natural heritage; the Superb Gem UNC 67 EPQ grade, very close to the maximum possible, makes it a remarkable piece for collectors of Latin American commemorative banknotes.
