Gibraltar £20 note, issued by the Government of Gibraltar in 2006, Pick 33a, with serial prefix AB. Certified by PMG with a grade of 67 EPQ, exceptional paper quality, uncirculated and encapsulated in its sealed holder.

Obverse: portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Reverse: HMS Victory, Admiral Horatio Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, depicted on its return to Gibraltar after the battle, commemorating the Rock's role as a British naval base during the Napoleonic Wars.

The Trafalgar and HMS Victory motif accompanied the Gibraltar £20 note in several successive issues since the 1990s, and this 2006 example with prefix AB is of interest both for its naval theme and its early position within the print run of that series.
