Gibraltar 10 Pound banknote, issued by the Government of Gibraltar in 2006, Pick 32a, with serial prefix AA. Certified by PMG with a grade of 67 EPQ, exceptional paper quality, uncirculated and encapsulated in its sealed holder.

Obverse: portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Reverse: scene of the Great Siege of Gibraltar (1779-1783), the Hispano-French siege that the British garrison managed to resist, inspired by John Trumbull's painting of the sortie of the garrison, with the figures of Don José de Barboza and General George Eliott, governor during the siege.

This military episode, one of the most remembered in Gibraltar's history, remained the motif of the 10-pound note for several successive issues, and the AA prefix of this specimen places it among the first print runs of the 2006 series, a feature appreciated by prefix collectors.
