10 Egyptian Pounds banknote, issued by the Central Bank of Egypt between 2004 and 2012, Pick 64c, uncirculated according to PMG grade 64.

Obverse: Al-Rifai Mosque, in Cairo, mausoleum of the Egyptian royal dynasty, with the issue date and the signature of the bank governor in Arabic script. Reverse: Statue of Pharaoh Khafre, builder of the second great pyramid of Giza, with the god Horus in the form of a falcon protecting his head from behind.

The banknote once again links a religious building from Islamic Cairo with a masterpiece of Ancient Egypt preserved in the Egyptian Museum, a common formula in Egyptian banknotes of these years. Recommended for those who collect by theme of pharaonic art or religious architecture.
