10,000 Colombian peso banknote, issued on October 12, 1992, Pick 437a, first date of this commemorative issue of the V Centenary of Christopher Columbus's voyage to America. Certified by PMG with a grade of 67 EPQ, exceptional paper quality, uncirculated and encapsulated in its sealed holder.

Obverse: Columbus's fleet sailing, and next to it, an indigenous goldwork piece from the Gold Museum in Bogotá, depicting a high-ranking woman with ornaments and a nose ring. Reverse: native Colombian birds surrounding an ancient world map, Waldseemüller's 1507 map, the first map to use the name "America", along with the Santa María caravel.

As the first date of a limited-edition commemorative issue, this banknote is especially valued by those who collect historical milestones and by those who seek to complete the different dates and signatures of this 10,000 peso V Centenary series.
