Anverso: retrato de Tsuda Umeko, con holograma tridimensional de su retrato y de bolas decorativas tradicionales, y sello rojo del gobernador. Reverso: flores de glicinia colgantes en tonos violeta y azul.

Tsuda Umeko (1864-1929) fue pionera de la educación femenina en Japón: viajó a Estados Unidos con solo seis años como una de las primeras estudiantes enviadas al extranjero y fundó la escuela que hoy es la Universidad Tsuda. Pertenece a la nueva familia de billetes japoneses puesta en circulación el 3 de julio de 2024.
