Obverse: polo or equestrian falconry scene, illustration based on classic Persian miniatures. Reverse: Imam Mosque in Isfahan (Masjed-e Imam), with its minarets and turquoise-tiled domes, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Polo is a sport with roots in Persia dating back over 2,500 years; the miniatures depicting it are one of the great treasures of medieval Persian art. The Imam Mosque, located in Isfahan's Naqsh-e Jahan Square, is considered one of the masterpieces of Islamic architecture.
