10 quetzal banknote issued by the Bank of Guatemala with an approval date of February 7, 2024, Uncirculated (UNC) and cataloged as Pick 123A. Printed by PWPW.

Obverse: the portrait of General Miguel García Granados, President of the Republic between 1871 and 1873, over a stepped pyramid, with a quetzal in flight, a Mayan figure, and the flag of Guatemala. Reverse: the session of the National Legislative Assembly of 1872, presided over by the national coat of arms and flag, along with a column of Mayan glyphs.

García Granados led the Liberal Revolution of 1871 and, as the note's own inscription recalls, promoted the approval of the main codes and laws that governed the country for nearly a century; the blue and white flag that appears on the banknote is also credited to his government. It forms a pair with the 5 quetzal note featuring Justo Rufino Barrios, his fellow revolutionary and successor to the presidency.
