2 bolívares fuertes banknote issued by the Central Bank of Venezuela in 2014, Pick 88, uncirculated.

Obverse: portrait of Francisco de Miranda, precursor of Venezuelan independence, accompanied by a map of the country and a period sailing ship. Reverse: a river dolphin or "tonina" (Inia geoffrensis) next to a social feather duster worm (Bispira brunnea), over the landscape of the Coro dunes.

It is one of the lowest denominations of the bolívar fuerte, the currency that circulated in Venezuela between 2008 and 2018; due to its low value and rapid devaluation, few uncirculated specimens remain, making this banknote interesting for those looking to complete the series prior to the 2018 redenomination in good condition.

“My experience with Iberoamericana Banknotes has been excellent: guaranteed authenticity, personalized advice, and a very wide selection of banknotes from rare countries. I bought a rare Rwandan banknote with a certificate, and it exceeded my expectations.”
