One Singapore dollar banknote from the so-called Ship series (1984-1999), undated (ND 1987) and cataloged as Pick 18a. Presented in uncirculated condition.

Obverse: A traditional Chinese junk, a vessel that sustained Singapore's maritime trade for centuries. Reverse: The Sentosa satellite earth station, a telecommunications facility symbolizing the city-state's leap towards technological modernization.

The Ship series illustrates a different moment in Singapore's economic history on each denomination, from traditional port trade to industry and telecommunications, making it one of the most collected series in Southeast Asia due to its almost didactic representation of the country's development.

“My experience with Iberoamericana Banknotes has been excellent: guaranteed authenticity, personalized advice, and a very wide selection of banknotes from rare countries. I bought a rare Rwandan banknote with a certificate, and it exceeded my expectations.”
