Commemorative polymer banknote issued by the Central Bank of Bolivia to mark the Bicentennial of independence (1825–2025), uncirculated (UNC).

Obverse: eight figures of the independence movement: José Manuel Baca “Cañoto,” Simón Bolívar, Bartolina Sisa, Túpac Katari, Eustaquio Méndez “Moto Méndez,” Alejo Calatayud, Juana Azurduy de Padilla, and Antonio José de Sucre. Reverse: the Casa de la Libertad in Sucre, with a jacaranda tree in bloom and the inscription “Two hundred years.”

Bolivia declared independence on August 6, 1825, at the Casa de la Libertad in Sucre, which now houses a museum. The banknote features heroes and heroines from different backgrounds and regions and is one of the most sought-after commemorative issues of the year.
