100 yuan commemorative banknote from the People's Bank of China, 2015 issue dedicated to Chinese astronautics (中国航天纪念), uncirculated (UNC), cataloged as Pick 910.

Obverse: a Shenzhou spacecraft docked with an orbital module, a satellite with solar panels and, on the left, the first Chinese satellite, the Dongfanghong-1, next to the national emblem and a holographic band. Reverse (vertical): a space station, a satellite, a historic aircraft and a green eagle, with icons of a planet, clouds and a tree, in a composition of blues and greens.

The banknote celebrates the achievements of the Chinese space program, from the Dongfanghong-1, launched in 1970, to the Shenzhou manned missions. It is a limited-edition commemorative issue, highly sought after by collectors of thematic and space banknotes.
