10 Saudi riyals banknote issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), printed date 2016 (1438 AH), uncirculated (UNC), cataloged as Pick 39a.

Obverse: portrait of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud wearing the traditional headgear (ghutra and agal) next to a historic adobe building, King Abdulaziz Palace in Riyadh, on a background of geometric motifs in orange and gold tones. It bears the denomination in Arabic, a large numeral 10, and a decorative rosette with the number 10 on the left.

Reverse: the skyscraper skyline of Riyadh's King Abdullah Financial District, with the issuer's name in English, the national emblem of the palm tree and two crossed swords, the denomination "Ten Riyals" and the year 2016.

It belongs to the sixth series of Saudi Arabian banknotes, issued starting in 2016 with the portrait of King Salman, who ascended the throne in 2015. The contrast between the historic palace on the obverse and modern Riyadh on the reverse summarizes the country's evolution.
