1000 bolívares fuertes banknote issued by the Central Bank of Venezuela, dated March 23, 2017, Pick 95bz, uncirculated. This is a replacement banknote, printed to substitute defective sheets from the normal print run; in this case, it belongs to the Z8 series, identifiable by the prefix of its numbering, with a much lower mintage than an ordinary banknote.

Obverse: portrait of Pedro Camejo, known as "Negro Primero," a llanero soldier who fought in the Battle of Carabobo, depicted from Antonio Rodríguez del Villar's 1930 bronze sculpture. Reverse: a giant armadillo (Priodontes maximus) on a landscape, next to the coat of arms of Venezuela.

The banknote is part of the "bolívar fuerte" family that circulated between 2008 and 2018, later replaced by the "bolívar soberano" after the monetary reconversion; its status as a replacement and the limited mintage of the Z8 series make it a sought-after piece among those who collect replacement variants.
