Somiedo, with its natural park and mountain huts, is one of the most remote corners of Asturias. Send me photos, and if it's worth it, I will make the trip.
What is most often found in homes in this part of central Asturias:

Two ways to show me your collection
- You come to Gijón. My shop is at Calle Cabrales 77, next to Parque de Begoña, and I work by appointment so I can give you as much time as you need.
- I travel to your home for free. With a few photos via WhatsApp, I can tell you in less than 24 hours if it is worth the trip. If it is, I will head over to Pola de Somiedo, Valle de Lago, or your village, review everything in front of you, and pay you by instant transfer right there if we reach an agreement.
An honest warning: most of what is kept at home is very common material, where only a perfect specimen—without creases or stains—has any value (look at it with a light from the side, almost skimming the paper, to see). What is truly of interest: 19th and early 20th-century Bank of Spain banknotes, local Civil War banknotes from Asturias, silver and gold coins, and complete collections. You have two options: I can come to your home throughout the Somiedo council for free after seeing photos of what you have, or you can come to my shop in Gijón at Calle Cabrales 77 by appointment.
How much does it cost for you to come to Somiedo?
Nothing. The visit to view old banknotes and coins is free throughout Asturias. I only ask for photos beforehand via WhatsApp so as not to waste your time if it is common material.

Which areas of Somiedo do you travel to?
