Compartir
If you have been searching for a numismatist in Santo Adriano, it is because you have banknotes or coins at home and want to know what they are. I buy them throughout the Santo Adriano council, and there is no need for you to travel: I will come to your home, for free, once I see a few photos via WhatsApp. If you prefer, I can assist you at my shop in Gijón.

I am Fran, from Iberoamericana Banknotes, a numismatics shop in Gijón and an authorized PMG dealer. I explain to you piece by piece what you have before offering you anything.
Old banknotes and coins in Santo Adriano
Santo Adriano is one of the smallest councils in Asturias, located in the Trubia valley. Even though you are just a stone's throw from Oviedo, there is no need for you to travel.
The items that most frequently appear in homes in this area of central Asturias are:
- silver coins from weddings, baptisms, and fairs
- old banknotes kept in books and folders
- peseta collections mounted in albums
Two ways to show me your collection
- You come to my shop in Gijón. I am located at Calle Cabrales 77, next to Parque de Begoña, by appointment. We will look at them calmly, with a magnifying glass and good light, and you will leave with a firm offer.
- I go to your home, for free and without obligation. You send me photos via WhatsApp, I will reply in less than 24 hours, and if it is worth it, I will go to Villanueva or Tuñón, or wherever you live, on a day that works for you. I will check everything in front of you and, if we reach an agreement, I will pay you on the spot via bank transfer.
An honest warning: most of what is kept at home is very common material, and only perfect specimens are worth anything—those without folds or stains (look at them with a side light, almost brushing the paper, and you will see). What is truly of interest: Bank of Spain banknotes from the 19th and early 20th centuries, local Civil War banknotes in Asturias, silver and gold coins, and complete collections. More details on which banknotes and peseta coins have value.
