- You come to my shop in Gijón. I am at Calle Cabrales 77, next to Begoña Park, by appointment. We will look at them calmly, with a magnifying glass and good light, and you will leave with a firm offer.
- I travel to your home for free. With a few photos via WhatsApp, I can tell you in less than 24 hours if it is worth the trip. If so, I will come to Proaza, Caranga, or your village, inspect everything in front of you, and pay you via bank transfer on the spot if we reach an agreement.
I’ll tell you right away: most of what is found in homes consists of pesetas and very common coins, and with few exceptions, only perfect specimens are worth anything. That is why I ask for photos first. What is worth showing: Bank of Spain banknotes from the 19th and early 20th centuries, local Civil War banknotes from Asturias, gold and silver coins, and large collections.
