Degaña, in the far southwest and on the border with León, is mining country. It is far from any coin shop, so if you have something worthwhile, I will come to you.

- I travel to your home for free. With a few photos via WhatsApp, I can tell you in less than 24 hours if it's worth the trip. If it is, I will come to Degaña or Cerredo, or your village, review everything in front of you, and pay you via bank transfer on the spot if we reach an agreement.
I prefer to be clear from the start: of what comes out of drawers, almost everything is pesetas and very common coins. Tons of those are preserved and, with few exceptions, only those in impeccable condition have any value. That is why I look at photos before going. What I do want to see: Bank of Spain banknotes from the 19th and early 20th centuries, local Civil War banknotes in Asturias, silver, gold, and large collections.
