Numismatics in Infiesto: I buy old banknotes and coins at home
Compartir
If you have been searching for a coin shop in Infiesto, it is because you have banknotes or coins at home and want to know what they are. I buy them in Infiesto and throughout the Piloña council, and you don't even have to move: I will come to your home, for free, after seeing some photos via WhatsApp. If you prefer, I can assist you at my shop in Gijón.

My name is Fran and I run Iberoamericana Banknotes in Gijón. I am an authorized PMG dealer, and the first thing I do is explain what you have; the offer comes later.
Old banknotes and coins in Infiesto
Piloña is a rural and livestock-farming council, full of fairs and savings kept at home. Old silver coins and collections of pesetas that have gone untouched for decades often turn up in homes in Infiesto and its parishes. I also serve the neighboring councils: Nava, Cabranes, Parres, and Caso.
What appears most often in homes in this area of central Asturias:
- old banknotes kept in books and folders
- collections of pesetas mounted in albums
- silver coins from weddings, baptisms, and fairs
You choose: I go to you or you come to me
- You come to my shop in Gijón. Calle Cabrales 77, next to Begoña Park. Please book an appointment first so we can review them without haste, using a magnifying glass and good light; you will leave knowing what you have and how much I am offering.
- I travel to your home for free. With a few photos via WhatsApp, I can tell you in less than 24 hours if it is worth me coming over. If it is, I will come to Infiesto, Sevares, or Villamayor, or your village, review everything in front of you, and pay you via bank transfer on the spot if we reach an agreement.
I prefer to be clear from the start: of what comes out of the drawers, almost everything is pesetas and very common coins. Tons of those are preserved and, with few exceptions, only those in impeccable condition have value. That is why I look at the photos before going. What I do want to see: Banco de España banknotes from the 19th and early 20th centuries, local Civil War banknotes from Asturias, silver, gold, and large collections. I explain this in which peseta banknotes and coins have value.
