Corvera grew alongside the industry of the Avilés region, and many families kept pesetas from their years working at the factory, sometimes with older pieces mixed in.

- You come to my shop in Gijon. I am located at Calle Cabrales 77, next to Begoña Park, by appointment. We will look at them calmly, with a magnifying glass and good light, and you will leave with a firm offer.
- I come to your home, at no cost. First, you send me some photos via WhatsApp; I will reply the same day, and if there is anything worthwhile, we can meet in Las Vegas, Nubledo, or Cancienes, or wherever you live, at the time that suits you best. We will look at them together, and if you accept the offer, I will transfer the payment on the spot.
I prefer to be clear from the beginning: of what comes out of the drawers, almost everything is common pesetas and coins. Tons of those have been preserved, and with few exceptions, only those in impeccable condition have value. That is why I look at the photos before going. What I do want to see: 19th and early 20th-century Bank of Spain banknotes, local Civil War banknotes from Asturias, silver, gold, and large collections. How much does it cost for you to come to Corvera?
Nothing. The visit to view old banknotes and coins is free throughout Asturias. I only ask for photos beforehand via WhatsApp, so as not to waste your time if it is common material.

Yes. I am at Calle Cabrales 77, next to Begoña Park. Write to me on WhatsApp first, and I will give you an appointment to attend to you calmly.

How do you pay if I sell to you during the visit?
On the spot, via immediate transfer, and I will provide you with a document listing what I am taking and the amount paid. Nothing leaves your home without being paid for.
