Numismatics in Caravia: I sell your old banknotes and coins without you having to leave home
Compartir
There is no need for you to look for a coin shop in Caravia open to the public: I buy old banknotes and coins, collections, and inheritances throughout the Caravia council, and I will come to your home to see them without charging for the visit. You can also come to my shop in Gijón, located at Calle Cabrales 77.

I am Fran, from Iberoamericana Banknotes, a coin shop in Gijón and an authorized PMG dealer. I will explain what you have piece by piece before making you any offer.
Old banknotes and coins in Caravia
Caravia is one of the smallest councils on the eastern coast. If you have old banknotes or coins, there is no need to travel.
The items that appear most often in homes in this part of the east are:
- inherited silver coins
- banknotes and coins from America, from the "indiano" houses
- old pesetas in family albums
You choose: I go or you come
- I go to your home, for free and with no obligation. You send me photos via WhatsApp, I reply in less than 24 hours and, if it is worth it, I will go to Prado or Duyos, or wherever you live, on the day that suits you best. I will review everything in front of you and, if we reach an agreement, I will pay you on the spot via bank transfer.
- Or you come to Gijón. My shop is at Calle Cabrales 77, next to Begoña Park, and I attend by appointment so I can dedicate all the time necessary to you.
An honest warning: most of what is kept at home is very common material, and in those cases, only a perfect specimen is worth anything, with no folds or stains (look at it with a light from the side, almost skimming the paper, and you will see). What is truly of interest: Bank of Spain banknotes from the 19th and early 20th centuries, local Civil War banknotes from Asturias, gold and silver coins, and complete collections. More details on which peseta banknotes and coins have value.
